Avalon Lost is a Sandbox Survival Game with an emphasis on player agency, through the use of RPG elements, customizable equipment and a plethora of skills, heroic points, and statistics to ensure that you can embark on the adventure that you wish to have, rather than to have everything predefined for you.

  • Face off against countless foes and monsters alike, spanning across numerous biomes and covered by the looming threat of King Mordred and his armies. Boasting over a hundred unique types of enemies and foes throughout the realm.

  • Stand United or Stake Your Claim as you seek your own fortunes within Albion amongst many other players who seek to do the same within private or publicly hosted servers upwards to 50 players at a time. Though you always have a choice to venture through Albion alone if you so desire.

Narrative

With the decisive battle of Camlann concluded, the usurper, Mordred, pressed forward and reduced Camelot to cinders and ash. It was upon this desecrated ground that he ascended to the throne of Albion and set forth his tyrannical edicts.

Over the coming years, the realm was sieged from beast and brigand alike. The commonwealth, once able to live peaceful solitary lives in their townships, struggled to find safe havens and nervously prayed for to see another bright sunrise. Fortunately, life was simple for you. Days would go by as you explored the neighboring forests for food and local game, and occasionally would spend time at the local tavern when a hunting trip seemed fortuitous enough. It was during one such day that you had ventured into the forests on the outskirts of town and discovered a strange metallic fragment bathed in a faint amethyst light. Curious as to its value and qualities, you met with the local blacksmith and had him appraise it for you later that day.

With a metallic thung that resonated throughout the hovel, the metal seemed to reverberate against even the faintest of taps from a hammer. It was as if it was warded or enchanted in some way, but neither the smith nor you could tell much from this fragment, but one thing was certain, it was forged from some type of mineral that you had never seen before. From that day onward, the winds began to change around the town. The forest grew more oppressive and the landscape around the outskirts became even more restless. It was as if the land itself responded towards your actions, or more specifically, your discovery.

Merely a weeks' time from when you visited the blacksmith, you settled down to rest in the earlier part of the evening only to be forcibly awoken to the sounds of screams. Darting to the nearby window, an orange blaze reflected upon the glass as trails of smoke coated the sky in a thickened obsidian ash.

Life had been simple for you...
