Why Early Access?

“Dimraeth is the most ambitious project our team has ever taken on, an open-world action RPG with co-op, crafting, base-building, character classes, and dozens of overlapping systems. As a small studio, the best way to get those systems balanced, the world feeling alive, and the player journey landing right is to put it in your hands as early as possible and tune it together. We've already been collecting playtest data and Discord feedback for months, and it's directly shaped the game. Early Access is the next step of that loop.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aren't setting a fixed date as our priority is quality and reaching every milestone on our roadmap before we leave Early Access. Roughly we expect a 18 to 24 month window, but the pace at which we land major content updates (new zones, races, end-game systems) and act on player feedback will guide the timeline more than any calendar. We'll keep the community updated as milestones approach.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to keep growing the world, the character options, and the depth of every system. That includes new biomes and zones beyond the current Earlwood and Wildwood regions, additional playable races and classes, an expanded late-game skill and equipment ceiling, more boss encounters, deeper crafting and building options, and a longer overall story arc. Throughout Early Access we'll also be tuning combat, co-op pacing, and progression based on what we're learning from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Dimraeth is fully playable today as a co-op action RPG. The current build includes multiple playable races and classes, a complete starter region (TheLostCaverns through Earlwood Village and into the Wildwood Forest), the full crafting and base-building loop, a working skill tree and attribute system, equipment with rarity tiers and upgrades, online co-op for friend groups, and multiple boss encounters. The core gameplay loop, explore, fight, gather, build, level up, group up, is in and stable. Early Access will expand the world around it and deepen every system.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually raise the price as we add more content and polish during Early Access, with a higher price at full release. Early Access supporters get the best deal and shape the game with us; the price reflects the growing scope as we go.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community is central to how Dimraeth is being built. Our Discord server is where everything happens day-to-day patch notes, bug reports, balance discussion, build sharing, and direct conversation with the dev team. We also read every Steam review and discussion thread, run regular playtest waves, and instrument the game with detailed anonymous analytics so we can see where players struggle and what they love, then act on it. If you've ever wanted to genuinely shape an action RPG as it's being built, Discord is where to do it.”
