World of Anterra is an epic non-linear, open-world role playing adventure. The game features a handcrafted open world, deep progression systems, fast paced combat, and rich lore, all wrapped in a satisfying and tactile interface. It’s the type of game only an independent studio could make!





Combat may look like a typical party-based tactics game, but don't be fooled! It’s the most streamlined grid-based combat you've ever seen. It’s so simple, you can use a single button to blast through low-risk combat scenarios like an action game, but has the depth and strategy needed to overcome more challenging opponents and bosses.




A mysterious eye watches over the realms as the throne sits empty. You are the prophesized, the traveller from another world, but why are you here? Is it to save Anterra? … or yourself?

World of Anterra tells a sweeping story with twists and turns that pull inspiration from current and historical events, science, and philosophy. Don’t expect walls of text though. You will uncover the story and the world’s lore through your conversations, experiences and discoveries. The narrative unfolds naturally, based on the paths you choose to follow.

Dialogue is snappy and feels natural. It allows you to have authentic interactions with every character in the game, with the least amount of text. The design is heavily inspired by retro RPGs like Ultima, but modernized to meet the expectations of a contemporary player. You will uncover secrets and lore about the world in a way that most games fail to do.

The wonder of pixel art shines through the small unexpected details like the flapping of a butterfly's wings. From large animals to small critters you will find life in every corner of the world. There are over 10 unique realms in Anterra, each with their own flora and fauna, culture, lore and magical beasts to discover.



The interface design is focused on tactile items and icons rather than UIs, menus and text. Our item management systems are a great example of this. Move, equip, trade items, and drop them in the environment, all without opening a single menu.

World of Anterra’s interface is integrated into the game using satisfying animations with in-world objects like bags and books.
