Miksi Early Access?

Because this is a personal project, it will end up being a self-indulgent game, so I chose Early Access because I wanted to hear players' opinions on the game as soon as possible.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Early access is scheduled to end in 2024 at the earliest.
At the latest, it is scheduled to end around spring 2025.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

For the full version, we plan to add an Game Center mode where players can freely interact with others, in addition to the ranked matches and casual matches that are currently playable in network mode.

Furthermore, we plan to add a new game, Epsilon Mode, which reuses material from the Steam version of the game, and add an alternative route to story mode exclusive to the protagonist.

This alternative route will have exclusive battles, and we plan to make it playable in VS mode and casual matches as a new battle mode, Sigma Edition.

When early access ends, the score rankings will be reset, with the overall VP ranking remaining as the early access ranking.

We also plan to add Steam achievements to the full version.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

In the early access version, some characters from story mode can be used in single player mode.
Arcade mode, survival mode, and training mode are playable.

Versus mode is available in two-player mode.

The multiplayer mode is network mode, and includes ranked matches where you compete for points,
and casual matches which can be played with any settings you like.

Currently I'm using free materials for the character voices, but once I've created the script I'm thinking of ordering them from a paid voice acting site.
I plan to keep the ones that are currently in there.

Even during Early Access, we plan to raise the price as the game becomes more complete.

If it's completely anonymous, I plan to accept bug reports and feedback via web applause on my own site, or if not, via X (formerly Twitter).

"Shadow Prisoner" is a 2D fighting game with simple controls that allow you to perform exhilarating combos.

You can play with 25 characters (9 will be added for free, and one is a collaboration character that will be paid DLC).

Even if you have no experience with fighting games, you can use the simple mode to play like an experienced fighting gamer just by repeatedly pressing buttons.

There are story mode and survival mode for single player, and versus mode and network mode for competitive play.

Network mode has a zero-latency netcode that supports rollback.

If you are playing in Japan, you can play with the same input sensation as if you were playing next to someone in Japan.

Currently available is the main game and the additional non-combo game April Liars.

In addition, Epsilon mode, a fighting action game where you shoot each other with a barrage of bullets, exclusive to the Steam version, will be added.
