About This Game

Ibboran is a turn-based, strategy wargame played out over an exciting 15-battle campaign. Choose and customize your General to lead your troops in the name of Emperor Tarmen. Free the Murria region of Ibboran from the enemy hordes, and earn the gratitude of your lord.

Start with an army of up to 10 units that will grow between battles as objectives are achieved and Gold flows into the Treasury. Fight over hex grid battlefields with gorgeous, hand-drawn graphics throughout.

Main features of the game:

• Pick and customize your General by adding Perks. Each Perk will grant a benefit to your army.

• Change your General's perks between battles if you choose, allowing you to alter your play style or army composition.

• Level up your General from the Gold you earn as the campaign progresses. Each level increases the combat effectiveness of your army.

• Play as Good or Evil. Each has its own distinctive units.

• Recruit troops from more than a dozen classes (e.g., Light Skirmisher, Heavy Archer, Air Bomber). Each class has pros and cons, so build your forces wisely.

• Over 150 different units.

• Each unit has an upgrade path that will take it from Tier 1 to Tier 5. Each upgrade brings improved stats and/or perks that make upgraded units more powerful.

• Troops gain experience as they fight and can level up within their current Tier, giving improved stats. If a unit upgrades, its experience carries over, allowing you to build powerful, veteran units.

• Battles can have mandatory or optional objectives. Mission types can include attack, defend, escort, rescue, or seek. Do you spread your army to get the rewards of an optional objective, or concentrate on the main prize? The choice is yours.

• Choose your opponent before each battle from fixed enemy Generals or custom ones that you create.

• Procedurally generated enemy forces to provide a balanced challenge.

• End a battle at any point, even if you have not completed the objectives. There are no battles that will prevent you from reaching the end of the campaign.

• Hire mercenaries from designated recruiting points on the battlefield to tilt the battle in your favor.

• Replace lost units or replenish damaged ones at the same recruiting points.

• Fort units that add defense and morale benefits to the units garrisoned within. Forts can be created, improved, and destroyed by units with specialized perks.

• Mysterious shrines, temples, and caves might be found on the battlefield. What will occupying them reveal?

• Numerous Advanced Rules can be altered during any battle, and adjust the game to suit your playing style or needs.
