We're launching an Early Access version of the game because we want to build alongside our community, from the foundation upward. Get up close and personal with our team during our public playtests & sprint reviews, held every two weeks. Who said only ZORANS get to join the rebellion?”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to run through Fall 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access is your golden ticket to additional content, daily challenges, and an early taste of our burgeoning in-game economy. In RoboSquad Revolution the early player gets the loot. Enlist now and earn exclusive cosmetic items only available to Early Access players.

Future additions to RoboSquad Revolution may include character and player progression, an improved store, more abilities and cosmetics, and unique opportunities for asset ownership and directional influence. Plus, be on the lookout for new Zoran classes. Variety is the spice of an AI life, after all.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Play solo with AI or host multiplayer team death match battles, in one of four maps. Customize your loadout with cool character skins and attachments, emotes, futuristic weapons, in-match avatars or "holograms", and more. Once you've tricked out your Zoran, visit the Training Map before jumping into combat.

For better (not for worse), we're still building. We keep adding new features, maps and UI elements. Some features are labeled "coming soon" and we're working around the clock to address those things while building the most fun game experience you'll ever have.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Nope! It'll be free-to-play during and after Early Access. Eventually you'll be able to purchase items in the shop.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“With open arms :D

From weekly playtests on public Discord channels to live public sprint reviews where we share all of the most recent game updates, our goal is to build with our community rather than for it.
