About This Game

The world of Saltaria is a vast ocean planet covered with islands and a subterranean underworld. On Saltaria, dinosaurs live side by side with mammals. Saltaria is both beautiful and dangerous. Human-sized insects, primeval arthropods, deadly predators and massive sea monsters will bring out your worst fears as you travel around in search of resources and treasure. Each island has new challenges to overcome, strange lifeforms to discover and secrets waiting to be found.




Construct, manage and expand your very own ship plank by plank. Make use of both sails and steam engines to propel your ship forward. Your ship is as much your mobile base as it is a battle station. Protect it from rival pirates or us it to attack and plunder other ships. You can build almost anything on your ship, ranging from work stations to furniture, cannons and even dirt patches to grow crops.

Sharpen your dodging and blocking skills for a Souls-like combat system that utilizes a triple weapon load-out. Equip a large 2 handed sword and a flintlock, a cutlass and a musket or combine a shield with any 1 handed weapon you want. Even when going with a full ranged build you can always fall back to your fist weapon to deal melee damage when enemies get too close for comfort. Pirates are also not limited to a handful of firearms and melee weapons. You can use shoulder cannons, bomb launchers and even staves! Pirates, wizards, what's the difference really?
