„The game we are working on is large in terms of scope and there is a lot of complexity when it comes to the gameplay mechanics, including mechanics of the different playable characters. We believe that having the game first in Early Access will provide us with a great opportunity to engage closely with our target audience and collect valuable feedback, which in turn will help us to improve the final version. We strongly believe that in order for us to make the best version of the game our playerbase needs to have hands-on experience with it as soon as possible.”

Additionally, for the full version we plan for it to include all the polish and updates to gameplay and UX based on the feedback we’ll be receiving from players during the Early Access period.”

„The Early Access launch version will feature approximately one third of the total planned quests, six base characters, two unlockable characters and both single-player and multiplayer modes available. We are currently gearing up for the game announcement and a Closed Beta test. The feedback from the test will be very helpful as we continue development on the Early Access version. The Closed Beta test is scheduled to run from Thursday, March 27 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time until Thursday, April 24 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.”

An evolution of the FROSTHAVEN board game experience, the dark fantasy tactical RPG serves as a spiritual successor to Gloomhaven and is developed by Snapshot Games.
