What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We designed Eldegarde with Early Access in mind from the start. We believe the player is an integral part of the game development process and the game benefits from ongoing feedback, for everything from balancing to deciding which features and content make the most impact.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Eldegarde to be in Early Access development for the next few weeks, and have plans to officially release in early 2026. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We expect the full version of Eldegarde to have more classes, maps, social features, Steam achievements, additional art, and balance polish. During Early Access, our plan is to release a major update every few months containing new features and content, followed by patches to address any issues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Eldegarde is unfinished. Early Access is a full development stage for us, where we plan to refine, expand, and improve the game with your feedback as our guide. This is just the beginning of the adventure, and we’re excited to grow alongside our community.

The core gameplay experience is fully in place. Players can dive into thrilling PvPvE combat, explore our carefully crafted progression system, and choose from four unique classes: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Priest. Currently, the game features one main map, Greenwood, designed to challenge and immerse adventurers.

During Early Access, we’re excited to expand the game by introducing new classes, including the Paladin and Wizard, along with new maps, such as the Dungeon Crypt and Goldbrook Farm Map. Players can also look forward to more monsters, new item sets, and system features like the guild system and character customization.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Depending on the duration of Early Access and the scope of additional content we add to Eldegarde over time, we may raise the retail price at a later point.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be actively monitoring feedback from our player community as we continue building and improving every aspect of Eldegarde.

Our official Discord server, linked above and from the game client, offers a place to discuss the game and connect with other players. We will also be checking our Steam discussion forums, and wherever else we find public discussion about the game. We expect to make many changes and improvements inspired by our player community.

Furthermore, players can help improve the game simply by playing, as anonymous gameplay data can optionally be transmitted to us and utilized by our team.”

About This Game

Eldegarde is a third-person action PvPvE RPG featuring distinctive fantasy classes. Go on adventures solo or with friends to search for treasures, level up, and defeat any who stand in your way.

Choose between 6 iconic classic fantasy classes to level up: the Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Priest, Wizard and Paladin, each with their own character model, armor, weapons and skills.

Explore 5 unique zones with up to 32 different creature encounters. Embark solo or with up to 2 others in either PvE Expeditions, PvPvE Extraction or fast-paced Arenas.

Bring your best gear and potions into every adventure, but beware. Death comes at a cost, and in PvPvE, others can claim what’s yours.

When you can't find the loot you want, craft it with Eldegarde's rich crafting and progression system.

Earn reputation with the vendors in Stonehaven to unlock new crafting recipes. Build your Lodge and unlock furnishings like the Forge to process Ore, the Bed to earn Rested Experience, or the Critter Habitat where you house Goldgrubs to spin golden thread for passive income!
