How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include finalized gameplay, with completed narrative and art assets for all six planets, as well as the Battle Simulator, Dr. Corvid's Lab. During our phased Early Access release, some of these assets and design elements may not yet be included. The Early Access version is expected to have multiple releases as follows:
Initial Release in October: First World (Jambito) release
Second Release in November: Second World (Everfin) release
Third Release in December: Dr. Corvid's Lab”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version features the first world, Jambito, consisting of 5 levels. Key gameplay elements include:
Virball Weapon Combinations: Players can experiment with combining Virballs, only the Earth element (first core) is available for combinations at this stage.
Platforming: Experience fast-paced platforming using ORB’s abilities to run, jump, and use thrusters to tackle various challenges.
Boss Battles: Battle against powerful capsule bosses, leading up to an intense final boss encounter.
Rescue Mission: Players will get an introduction to the Floobers and embark on a rescue mission to save them.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price will be discounted from the price of Full Release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have multiple platforms for our community to follow us through our development journey. Our "home base" will be our Official Discord Server, where users will be able to give the team design feedback, help us find bugs, and help us dream up future features.”

About This Game

Stop Dr. Corvid's Elemental Chaos

Dr. Corvid, a mad scientist with a penchant for chaos, has unleashed his latest experiment — the Virballs, virus-like creatures that manipulate elemental forces. Now, entire planets are overrun with these mischievous entities, spreading fire, wind, and electrical havoc across the galaxy.

As ORB, an Object Removal Bot armed with rocket-powered claws, it’s up to you to track down these volatile creatures, harness their powers, and save the galaxy from Corvid’s creations before it’s too late.

Collect, Combine, and Conquer

Dive into this thrilling, action-packed platformer and stop the spread of Dr. Corvid’s chaos. Here’s what you’ll be doing in Virballs:

Capture and Combine

Grab Virballs with ORB’s grappler claws and fuse their elemental properties — Earth, Water, Fire, Electricity, Air, and Slime — into unique hybrid weapons. Experiment with more than 40 different combinations to unlock powerful new ways to battle enemies.

Fast-Paced Platformer

Run, jump, and blast through levels packed with enemies, traps, and environmental puzzles. With ORB’s trusty blasters, thrusters, and claws, you’ll conquer every obstacle in your way.

Purge the Infested Worlds

Six unique planets have been infested with Dr. Corvid’s Virballs. Each planet poses new threats and requires creative use of Virball powers to clear the infestation.

Save the Floobers

The adorable, peaceful Floobers are in danger - help the Floober King rescue his people and evacuate to their ship!

Epic Boss Battles

Challenge ultra-powerful Virball bosses to unlock new elemental Cores, expanding ORB’s arsenal and unlocking even more devastating weapon combinations.
