The knight Gregory Bellatoni arrives at a mansion party, intent on meeting Princess Eliza.

In order to reach her, Gregory must adventure through a labyrinthine world that exists as a mirror to his own. Inside the world of the Weave, he encounters characters from art and fiction, phantoms of artists, and beings from seemingly nowhere at all. Gregory quickly finds out, however, that some inhabitants are friendlier than others...

Gregory, with the help of Kand, a strange denizen of the mirror world, must overcome obstacles, tame beasts, and make peace with his inner desires to escape this world and reach Princess Eliza.

Gameplay

Recital of the Heart is an action adventure game with a focus on exploration, narrative, and challenges. The combat system encourages experimentation with modifications on uniqu melee, ranged, and mobility actions to reward the player with emergent gameplay.

• Explore a World of Living Art - The mirror world is a vast and varied world abound with secrets around every corner. Meet a cast of characters, some recognizable and some new,  from works of art, literature, and music.

• Overcome Puzzles and Challenges - Utilize the unique skills you collect while playing to traverse traps, solve puzzles, and outsmart foes.

• Create your own Symphony - Mix and match dozens of unique Brushes, Instruments, and Tempos to bestow Gregory with powerful melee, ranged, and mobility abilities. Additional flourishes modify your abilities for even more combinations.

The story is simple and familiar. Save the princess atop the tower distant. But the 'dragons' you will face along the way may surprise you. Some may terrify, some may humble, some may pull on thy heartstrings. But each will bestow upon you a lesson. The story may be simple, and it may seem familiar, but what a tale truly means...
