Why Early Access?

“Id love to get feedback. And this gets it in peoples hands earlier, if anyones interested, they get to see the journey.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to finish it within 6 months. With that said, it will remain early access until I'm satisfied with it. This depends on players' reactions to it and how I feel about it myself.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The launch build is mostly a straight path of progression, but the whole game is meant to systemically provide choices. By release i want to open up the far lands a lot so everyones path can be a little more different and special, and provide a good amount of depth to the deeplands.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most systems are in, but not explored, the path through the content is mostly linear, but will eventually open up. Please refer to the about this game section for an outline of the game in its current form.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to increase the price over the course of early access as I add more content and approach full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The games very weird and experimental, and I'm hoping the community can help me steer the ship towards the best version of itself, please report any bugs you find, let me know of any suggestions you have, in the steam community forums. Hopefully this can become something special over time.”

About This Game

Do not purchase in early access if you want a complete experience

It will be rough for a while.

Taking inspiration from Old School Runescape's custom rulesets popularised on youtube, make meaningful choices, through harsh limitations, that ease through progression in this experimental singleplayer RPG.

You owe a large debt, and are forced into a virtual prison to pay it off.  You can work the debt off slowly through labour, come up with clever mercantile tricks to pay it off faster!

Or get strong and challenge the champion! 

And if you defeat them all your debts will be wiped clean immediately!  But be careful, they're incredibly strong!

Every action you perform earns XP.

Set your own goals, and slowly unlock everything the world has to offer you.

As you play you will gain access to new relics.

These relics all have hidden bonus effects like being able to walk through fire to access new areas of the map, or passively increasing gathering rates.

The relics are incredibly valuable so be sure to find them all!

Everyone area is chunk locked!

Will you risk your money exploring the unknown?

Or master a small number of known chunks to pay your bills?
