What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

““Minimally Invasive is a fun VR surgical robot simulator that features extremely realistic surgical tools that behave as they do in the real world. We are working on integrating feedback from VR gamers but also from expert surgeons to ensure maximum fun and to mimic real surgical tool behavior and soft body tissue interaction. This is going to take some time to get right and we want to develop this side by side in collaboration with its community with the goal of making the best possible VR game.””

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“"Minimally Invasive is still in development and we need some time in Early Access to complete all our planned features and content. However, additional community requests and ideas might shift the final release date.””

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We have planned a wealth of features and content additions that we want to add to Minimally Invasive during the Early Access phase. We hope to include many community suggestions and ideas, fix bugs. Furthermore we plan to improve game performance and upgrade gameplay experience on all levels to make Minimally Invasive ready for the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

““The Early Access version of Minimally Invasive is playable and relatively stable with most features included on a basic/medium level of functionality. This means that players are currently able to perform a series of operations and missions. We are planning on taking the suggestions from the community during Early Access and add these new missions that will be drop as updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

““The price of Minimally Invasive will increase slightly as the game gets closer to release date with the initial lower price serving as a 'thank you' to the community that supports us in the early development phase.””

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will encourage the community to post their comments, mission ideas, feature requests and bug reports directly on Steam’s discussion pages and our Discord channel.

All posts, suggestions and ideas will be closely examined by our community managers and they will give their best to respond to each and every post that is made. We plan on implementing a good deal of these requests will be implemented in the game and via group requests or polls.”
