Why Early Access?

“During Next Fest, we identified multiple gameplay and and accessibility features that we need to improve. We've tried very hard to improve the game over the last few months since our playback sessions at PAX, but due to work-life balance and other circumstances, and even after pushing our original release date of Feb 19th to Mar. 11th, and do not want to delay again, so we chose to release in EA. We know we still have some issues that we want to improve on, and we want to keep improving on the feedback we've received from playtesters and community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1-3 months; depending on how long it takes to port over to a newer engine with less systemic bugs and better feature support.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Multiple minor gameplay and UI/UX changes including but not limited to new achievements, refined content, better accessibility and settings, improved actions and animations, better save file support between versions, etc.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game is completely playable on Windows and Mac from beginning to end (all 5 chapters), but does not include all extra gameplay features that we want to add such as new mini-games.
The Linux and Steam OS/Steam Deck version also only includes the first 3 chapters.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have already begun to take steps toward community involvement- asking people in Discord, Twitch, and other social media sites to play the game and give us their honest feedback. We want to continue involving the community, both content creators and friends and family who have offered to help us focus test. We will also be sending out multiple updates in the next few weeks to keep the community appraised of our current release status and exact improvements made. Thank you!”
