"Subliminal" is a first-person puzzle game inspired by the concept of the "Backrooms."
Caleb finds himself trapped in his memories,
arriving in a building filled with surreal and backroom-style architecture.
Although it contains his childhood memories, as the story unfolds,
the memories are gradually eroded, and the environment becomes distorted and warped.
He must overcome darkness and fear alone, facing various puzzles and entities...





Developed with the UE5 engine,
"Subliminal" features cutting-edge lighting and rendering technology,
with incredibly realistic and detailed visuals and outstanding light and shadow effects.
In the game, players find themselves trapped in a backroom-style building constructed from memories,
revisiting familiar yet illogical and surreal scenes as if in a dream.









"Subliminal" will feature multiple distinct game levels,
each of them will have several challenges,
upon completion of which players can enter different levels, ultimately influencing the game's ending.









The in-game levels are designed with a rich array of challenges.
These test light manipulation, observation skills, logical thinking, imagination, and even dexterity.
Players will also encounter and face various entities and creatures, each presenting a unique challenge.
Every challenge is full of fun and will trigger different endings.








Though every scene in the game feels familiar,
the use of space, lighting, and sound design creates an oppressive and eerie atmosphere that induces anxiety and unease.
Especially when memories start to erode,
the visuals become distorted and warped, and entity creatures even appear...
