“Getting the game out at an early stage allows players to influence its development and allows the removal and addition of features as requested by players.”

“After The Turn will be in Early Access for 12 to 24 months unless production happens sooner.”

“When the full version of the game is released we plan to have more single player open world maps, and a number of multi-player open world maps, also more equipment and loot will be added. We also plan to add unique gameplay mechanics that will keep players constantly excited. Our goal is to add a class system and perk system and more mechanics such as fishing, bows, more crafting stations and the ability to customize your character and the option for 3rd/1st person swappable views. There is also in progress, a full electricity system using generators that require fuel etc. These can power lights, defenses, traps and even a refrigerator for a cold one at the end of a long day of surviving.”

“Currently one quadrant of a 64 square kilometer map is in place, can be played in either single or multiplayer.
Current working features are the survival aspects, looting, crafting, building, farming, swimming, climbing, water needed for farming, fuel needed for vehicles, drivable vehicle, lockpicking, batteries needed for torches and other future devices. Multiple enemy types, some fast some slow.”

“Pricing will increase once Early Access has finished.”

Embrace the dual nature of survival in "After the Turn": Prey by day, predator by night.

Introducing "After the Turn," a gripping First Person Survival Horror experience from Groom Lake Studios, powered by Unreal Engine 5. Immerse yourself in a haunting world where music composed by Iestyn Haberfield sets the tone for your journey.

Unravel the mysteries of a post-apocalyptic world through a compelling story mode that delves into the events that led to its downfall. Explore handcrafted maps teeming with detail and passion, each with its own unique story waiting to be discovered.

In an alternate universe where vampires and zombies roam, survival means more than just avoiding the undead. Harvest vampire blood to create a cure against zombie bites, while fending off attacks from both creatures day and night.

But dangers lurk beyond the undead – rebel factions, rival groups, and wildlife all pose threats to your survival. Will you navigate this treacherous world and emerge victorious?

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS:
• Explore: Roam large open worlds filled with diverse locations and stories to uncover, whether in single player or multiplayer. Every house, building, tree, and rock is ripe for exploration and harvesting.

• Craft: Forge multiple items and tools to aid in your survival, from weapons and armor to essential supplies.

• Farming: Cultivate crops in dedicated plots, managing water and weather conditions to ensure their growth and sustenance.

• Temperature: When the temperature drops due to rain or snow, you'll need to seek shelter to avoid the cold.

• Weapons and Armor: Arm yourself with a variety of firearms, melee weapons, and protective gear to fend off threats.

• NPCs: Interact with a living, breathing world populated by quest givers, merchants, and individuals with tales to share.

• Hunting: Hunt wild animals for sustenance and crafting materials, expanding your survival options.

• Vehicles: Utilize functional vehicles with storage capabilities to expedite scavenging runs, ensuring you stay one step ahead of danger.

• Lockpicking: Gain access to locked areas by mastering the art of lockpicking, a skill useful in both single player and multiplayer modes.

• Flashlight: Conserve battery power as you navigate the darkness, scavenging for spare batteries to keep your light burning.

• Food and Drink: Scour the open world for sustenance, crafting meals and medicines to fortify yourself against the challenges ahead.

• Day/Night and Weather: Experience the dynamic passage of time and unpredictable weather patterns that shape your journey.

• Additional Mechanics: Engage in swimming, climbing, and other activities, while honing your skills to adapt to this unforgiving landscape.
