Miksi Early Access?

Revenge of The Mage blends action roguelites and shooters! Both of these can benefit from player feedback, even more so when brought together in this relatively unique take. That’s why we’d like to have player feedback and gameplay experience available early.
Additionally, we have plans to expand the game into extraction and deckbuilding genres, which makes both current and future feedback even more relevant and important to shape Revenge of the Mage into a game that the community will enjoy.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Instead of focusing on a timeline, we’re focusing on the game’s quality. We’ve learned not to commit to timelines too early in our previous projects the hard way! We will definitely keep the community updated once we feel more comfortable.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We plan to add more realms, enemies and bosses, more spells, upgrades, NPC trades, and items to the full version of RoTM. Each introduced new content, Quality of Life improvements, gameplay balancing, and player-requested updates will be the steps of our full version of the game.
As mentioned, we also have plans to expand the game experience with extraction and deeper deckbuilding elements.

We have released the game with 3 mages, 6 maps and many cards. You can follow our road map to see our future plans.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We currently have no plans to increase the price after Early Access.

Our main feedback channels are our Discord channel and Steam forums. We also keep an eye out on our social channels. If you have structured/detailed feedback, we suggest starting a thread in Steam forums as it supports longer text better than other channels. Please note that we might not comment on each thread, but we are definitely reading everything!
