Why Early Access?

“Revenge of The Mage is blending the FPS with roguelite! We want to keep developing this game with the community's feedback and requests. Also, the game will have a bit of extraction and deckbuilding genres with many features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have already taken our lessons from our first game. We are planning to keep RoTM at Early Access until it's solid. But we estimate that at least take about 1.5 or 2 years. As we have learned from the hard way, anything shorter would make it almost impossible, the quality simply requires time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more realms, enemies and bosses, more spells, more upgrades, NPC trades, and items to the full version of RoTM. Each introduced new content, Quality of Life improvements, gameplay balancing, and player-requested updates will be the steps of our full version of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are working hard. With the past Public Tests, we ensured the Early Access release version of RoTM is acceptable. We want to add new and more features with the new realms as much as possible. For additional context, the current game state details can be found in the About This Game section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Currently, we are not planning to increase the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We keep gathering feedback from our Discord server as always. For those who don't use Discord, we gather feedback from our social channels and of course the Steam forums. Suggestions from the community will help to make decisions about our development to deliver the best.”

About This Game

This is not another isometric Action Roguelite game!
Revenge of the Mage puts you in the robes of a mage where you can experience all the action from the eyes of a mage. You have to destroy the hordes of the damned and collect their essences to power up yourself and save the multiverse!

Select Your Mage
Players can select their desired Ancestor! Every Ancestor has different colors that empower a certain element. You will start with a few, but many more will be added to your magical wardrobe. Every single one will introduce an alternative style. But remember, this journey is not for weak-hearted magic users!

Let the hands of fate open the ways of your Magic!
Every time you level up, you will be offered several spells out of unique 20+ passive cards (for now). Each of them can be upgraded several times for greater effect.

Revenge of the Mage offers a simple but fun experience. Remember, everything you will face and find is just the beginning.

  • Unlock different Ancestors for your desired gameplay.
