Why Early Access?

“PinBuilder is being developed by a small team and considering that one of the game's most important features is the Playfield Editor we want to make sure its functionality and feel works well for users. Since the game will feature user-created content to be shared with other players (playfield designs, components, decals, sounds, etc), it is important that we involve the community from the beginning.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We wish we could say for sure how long Early Access will be. Our target release date is November 2023, but depending on the community's feedback, the timeline could be extended into 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We would like the full version to integrate with the Steam Workshop which would allow users to share their PinBuilder pinball creations with the Steam Community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is a fully functional pinball machine builder and simulator. You can play the pinball tables that ship with the game and you can customize them to your liking or create completely new tables of your own design. You can save your tables locally to your PC add your own graphics and sounds for them if you want to. You can build and play countless pinball playfield layouts with complete customization.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price for the game will remain the same when it leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We always welcome input from our friends in the pinball community with respect to the building options available in the game (playfield components, machine types, etc) and any suggestions or requests for changes to the way the game works. Feedback is best coordinated via our Steam Forums or our Facebook page.”
