What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have a strong, playable core, survival systems, resource extraction, base building, and research all working together. But Possible One is the kind of game that needs real players to get the balance right. With Early Access, we can tune the systems that matter most while the game is still being shaped, not after it ships.

We've shown the game at Gamescom and PAX West. The response was good, the prototype held up, and the feedback was useful. That's exactly the process we want to continue with a wider audience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're planning around 7–12 months in Early Access, with a full release targeting Q1 2027. That said, this timeline might shift slightly depending on the feedback we receive and the features the community wants us to prioritize.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access covers the core loop, base building, survival, resource management, and early industrialization. We plan to build on that with an astronaut progression system, deeper research branches, endgame crisis content, branching narrative events, and Moon-Side Mega Projects as the pinnacle of lunar engineering.
The foundation is Early Access. Everything beyond that is what we're working toward.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, the game features a fully playable 60-minute core experience that showcases our fundamental mechanics: resource extraction, base construction, survival management, and basic research. It’s a functional, tested foundation that players really enjoyed at our recent live events. However, please keep in mind that this is an active, evolving build. You will encounter rough edges, missing features, and ongoing balance changes as we expand the game. It is a true Early Access title, not a finished product.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price gradually as we add content and move toward full release. Getting in during Early Access means you're getting the lowest price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community is at the heart of this project. We’re highly active on our Discord server, sharing behind-the-scenes updates and chatting directly with players. Throughout Early Access, we’ll be running specific playtesting sessions, putting out community polls to help prioritize features, and hosting Q&A events around major milestones. Your feedback will directly influence game balance, new content, and quality-of-life updates. Ultimately, we view this as a collaboration, the people playing the game should be the ones helping us shape it.”

About This Game

Hello Commander,

You have been tasked with a very important mission, one that will change humanity as we know it. You must travel to the moon and start your colony. Your employees will need somewhere to live after all. Start harvesting and refining the precious resources scattered across the moon and send the processed materials back to Earth. Your success is determined by not only your colonists' happiness, but more importantly, the happiness of the board of directors back home.

Best of luck.

Build and Plan

Plan the literal foundations of your colony and start providing a home away from home for your colonists. You’ll need to provide housing, food, and other key facilities to your colony while also managing the psychological impact of living on the moon if you want your colony to not only thrive, but also to survive.

Lunar Survival

Being far from home is difficult for anyone, but being hundreds of thousands of miles away in a harsh environment is something else entirely. Your colonists will need your help dealing not only with the mental ramifications of being on the moon, but also the physical threats that come with it. You’ll need to protect them from radiation poisoning and help them overcome the side effects of zero gravity life if you want to see your colony grow.

Real World Science

Use proven, real-world technologies to develop your colony, explore the surface of the moon, mine and refine resources, then ship your spoils back to Earth. This isn’t science fiction; this is real science and technology that you implement on your journey to establish the first lunar colony.

Attention to Detail

Not only will you need to manage your colony’s happiness and resources, but you will also need to keep the members of the board happy. Not making them enough money with your mining? They’ll cut your funding and shut down your colony. Managing the needs of your colony versus the demands of the board will be the difference between success and failure.
