Why Early Access?

“Our main goal is to create a game which is fun to play and there is no better way to do that then involving the community in the development process, letting the players help guide the game in the right direction! We feel like this would be the perfect time to let players experiment with the games base features and provide valuable feedback to make sure the game reaches it full potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It depends a lot on the amount of new content we decide to add based on the community feedback but it will most likely take at least a year before we end the early access period.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The finished game will include more unique commanders, units, buildings and maps. We are also planning to add a lot of new features such as new game modes, ranked PvP, new interactable map elements and capturables. To increase the single player content we would like to utilize the already existing AI and create missions or a campaign.

We would also like to improve the level editor and make it available to players to let them create their own maps and missions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most of the core gameplay features are fully developed both for single player and multiplayer.
This includes a fully functional AI for skrmish matches and dedicated game servers hosted by us.

There are currently three commanders and nine units all with unique abilities, stats, visuals and upgrades. The game also includes core map elements such as resource points, supply points and crates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There is no definitive anwser to this yet but the price might increase slightly at the end or after the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want all the feedback we can get, regarding everything from current features, balance changes and totally new ideas! To do this we have our Discord server where players can chat with us directly and bounce ideas without any delay. We are also active on the Steam Forums, Twitter and Reddit!”

CHOOSE YOUR FACTION

Join the Military, fight for freedom with PUNKZ or enter the Vertex organization and take humanity to the next level!

CHOOSE YOUR COMMANDER

Each faction has unique commanders with powerful abilities that can turn the tides of the battle!

COMMAND YOUR TROOPS

Units are the bread and butter of ANIWARS. Each faction have their own unique units with different strengths, weaknesses and abilities that let you outplay, outsmart or simply just blow up your opponent!

UNIT UPGRADES

As the battle goes on you earn upgrade tokens which let you choose one of three upgrades for each unit. Each upgrade will have major impact on your gameplay and let you adapt your strategy to crush your enemies!

SINGLE PLAYER

Hone your skills and try new tactics versus the AI in customizable skirmishes.
