Why Early Access?

“Early access is a way for me to show my game to everyone while not having all the content available at the start, as it is not mandantory to have it to get an idea about what my game is and what it will look like once finished.

Job at Risk is a game where the jobs won't have any strong links, you can start with any job, it does not matter. So I prefer to launch my game with one job, and afterwards implement the others.

The first available job will be being a cook in a restaurant, and as the time goes, I'll add more jobs, like, being a shop manager or a maintenance worker. Once I think there is enough jobs implemented to justify the release, then I'll do it.

Moreover, with early access, I can listen to the community and receive all their feedbacks, so the final game will be a more polished version of the early access one.

I've been working on this project for 2 years now, and I restarted from scratch a few times until I got the good one. I think it'll take one more year at least to put the game in a release state, when I think it will be 100% ready.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game won't come out of early access before the end of 2023 with a certainty. I think the beginning of 2024 is a good bet for a release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While the early access will have only one job at the beginning, for the release I plan to have 3 jobs fully playable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first job will be fully playable.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, probably a bit higher after the early access, because there will be more content.”

“Do not hesitate to ask me questions, to tell me a suggestion or to report a bug, it could help me improve the jobs!”
