Why Early Access?

“We want Bone Dust to take full advantage of arcade style gameplay and global scoreboard. We want feedback on enemy types, bullet patterns and difficulty of the game. These will be developed throughout the EA phase. We feel that the best way to achieve that is to get as much feedback as possible from the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to be leaving EA in 1-3 months time from initial release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the initial Early Access version we are going to have one arena, three monster types and one boss fight.

During EA development we are going to add global scoreboard, more monsters and more complex bullet patterns. And also hone the gameplay and overall feel and look of the game based on the feedback from the players. And we are going to test different monetization models too.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All the basic functionalities listed in the "About this game" section are implemented. The core gameplay loop is in place meaning that you can fight against enemies and bosses in one arena.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The main game will remain free to play but we will add paid leaderboard later during the development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Definitely! We are inviting people to discuss and even vote for next features to our Discord channel. And naturally we are active on Community Hub.”
