About This Game

Originally released in 1983, this was one of the very earliest releases from Ocean Software, which would go on to be one of Europe's biggest game developers and publishers of the 1980s/90s. Armageddon is a simple riff on an arcade classic, released for home microcomputers. Now, relive those days in this remastered emulated version. Contains the versions for both the ZX Spectrum and the Commodore 64.

Gameplay

Protect your cities from waves of nuclear attack by using powerful, but limited, missile batteries. Score extra points by getting direct hits, shooting down spy satellites, and having missiles left over at the end of each wave.

  • Saving/loading the game at any point
  • Support for most modern game controllers
  • Full control remapping
  • Image scaling and smoothing options

System Requirements

    • Memory: 100 MB RAM
