“We plan for Ratopia to remain in Early Access for approximately one year. We encourage players' feedback and will use it to enhance the game's quality to our best abilities up until the game's completion.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to greatly increase the relatively small amount of content related to character customization, dungeons, and mini-games. We also plan to develop more content, with some current ideas being the addition of electricity, war, and a volcanic biome. In addition, we will consistently improve game performance and user experience through various convenience upgrades and optimization processes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Ratopia is fully playable! Currently, the average playtime of the Early Access version is around 34 hours. With citizens participating in economic activities, customizable policies, differently generated terrains for each game, and over 250 structures, the game offers a high degree of freedom through its systems, allowing players to govern the city in various ways in each playthrough.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“When the game is officially released, the price of the game will increase slightly from its current price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The current state of the game and progress in its development are largely due to the contributions of our community. We receive feedback through multiple means, including through Discord, on Steam discussion boards, within our website, and offline exhibitions. We continuously incorporate this feedback into the game and are constantly providing updates; we encourage you to provide feedback and become a member of our extremely helpful and active community!”
