“I wanted people to play the real game while I built it. Early Access is how Blockscape grew: landscapes, building tools, settlers, vehicles, combat, and multiplayer all came from playing, talking, and iterating.

The game is now close to what I set out to make. I am still in Early Access because I am finishing it — fixing bugs, filling gaps, and making sure it holds together — not because the idea is still changing.”

“Not much longer. The game is close to what I want it to be.

I will not put a date on 1.0. I guessed “a year” when Early Access started, and that was wrong. I will leave Early Access when I am proud to call it finished. Until then I keep working. Quiet periods mean I am working, not that I have stopped. This is the project of my life. I will never abandon it.”

“Not by much. The game I wanted is largely here: start with nothing and build an empire, or ignore all of that and just build. Smooth voxel worlds, crafting, settlers, combat, vehicles, electricity and water, and Steam multiplayer are already in.

Version 1.0 is this game, finished. More polish, fewer bugs, better performance, and the remaining content and systems I still want to complete. It is not a different game, and I will not advertise modes that are not playable.”

“You can play the full game. Survival or Just Build. Procedural worlds (Mesa, Realistic, Wild, or a flat building world). Smooth terrain you can mine and sculpt. Crafting, farming, settlers, machines, vehicles, creatures, Steam multiplayer, and Workshop models.

It is close to complete, but it is still Early Access: there are bugs and rough edges. Buy it for the game that exists today. I work to keep save games compatible with future versions.”

Adakah harga permainan ini berbeza semasa dan selepas Akses Awal?

“Yes. The 1.0 version will cost more than the Early Access price. If you buy it now, you are supporting the last stretch of development and you will get the finished game without paying the difference.”

“The same way I always have. I read Steam discussions, I ask questions, and I take feedback seriously. Updates come when the work is ready.
