What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The decision to go into early access gives us the freedom to interact more immersively with our community as players get to experience first-hand the existing mechanics and recurring updates and feedback back to us in the form of feedback, and that's perfect for our small team. Because with all this feedback, we can build an increasingly refined and enjoyable game to play!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As a small team of developers, our timelines can currently be uncertain, but based on the path we've already taken. We understand that the game will already be somewhat more solid and ready for a next stage at the end of 2023. This deadline may be reduced as our team expands, in addition, we are working hard on this project and seeking to perform the best possible product.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The player, in addition to having a wide range of combat and interaction mechanics, will be able to explore different biomes on different islands scattered across the map, in addition to being able to explore fragments of the history of the various indigenous ethnicities available in the game online or alone.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is in the Alpha version, where the player already has the skills to create items, build houses, fight with indigenous people (AI), fight with other players in an online and interruptible way. In addition to interacting with animals and exploring fragments of the story mode inside the game! As it is an alpha version, the player is susceptible to bugs or optimization problems.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will change according to the massive updates to come! So for those who are buying early access, they will have a lifetime game and not have to worry about this price going up!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are a small independent development team, so community support for this game is of the utmost importance. Understanding this, we are always updating our main social networks with news related to it. In our Discord, you will find all the necessary channels to follow the development closely, as well as available channels for the community to send us suggestions and bug reports. It is an important mission for us to receive feedback from all players and fans of this game! We are always available to listen to you.”

About This Game

Inspired by a REAL indigenous tribe, where they live on an island called "North Sentinel Island" where they are completely isolated from society. Until then, we know almost nothing about what they do to survive, their language or even their culture. Native Hunter gives the player the possibility of living the experience in the body of an indigenous person completely isolated from society. Where it will only have available resources found in nature, and then all of this will be in your hands to survive the way you want against other players, animals or even indigenous tribes that roam the open map.

Inside the game you will find several fragments of history scattered in the form of cave paintings, which will guide you to the path of initiation of the tribe you want to become a member of. And then after finishing all the necessary tasks, the character will gain specific characteristics, related to special skills of creation and physical appearance. All of this will happen online with other players on the server, if you choose to play Online!

Who dictates the rules of what to do in the game is you! In an open world map, there are huge possibilities for interactions or exploration where nothing will hold you back in a monotonous story, as actions are taking place at all times throughout the map!

BUILDING, RESOURCE GATHERING AND CRAFT

There are several structures that you can manufacture to build houses, this ranges from foundations to paintings and decoration chairs, giving the player the possibility of creating large constructions where they bring comfort, or even a fortified base to defend against enemies that can find you anytime!

And for you to be able to build these structures, as well as many other items available in the game, you need to collect resources found in nature according to the need for each item.

With an advanced gathering and crafting system, more than 100 items are available for crafting at the start of Early Access, as well as advanced workbenches that provide crafting for advanced consumable items or refined equipment.

CULTIVATION AND DOMESTICATION

Beyond the challenges of survival, players have the opportunity to actively participate in the domestication of wild animals found throughout the map. Domestication allows not only for animal reproduction but also offers options for riding, combat, and protection. However, it's crucial to ensure that these animals are well-fed and secured in specially built enclosures, equipped with structures like fences and small gates.

To keep the animals fed, players can cultivate a variety of vegetables through an advanced cultivation system. The cultivation process requires special care, including the use of water and fertilizers during the plants' maturation period. These vegetables can not only be consumed to satiate players' hunger but can also provide special effects for a short period, offering a strategic advantage during the survival journey.

SURVIVE

Surviving in this unforgiving world demands players' hunting, fishing, and building skills. The constant need for food and hydration requires players to become true hunters and adapt to all available forms in nature to ensure their survival.

Additionally, dynamic weather changes, such as storms and heatwaves, can drastically affect the character's well-being, requiring adaptive strategies to face environmental challenges.

EXPLORE

The vast map offers countless exploration opportunities, from large islands with underground caves to mysterious ruins at the bottom of the ocean. Players have complete freedom to decide their destinations and activities in this constantly evolving open world. A recent addition is the scattered villages throughout the map, where players can interact with local inhabitants and meet their basic needs to prevent them from becoming sick or hungry. This dynamic adds an extra layer of responsibility and immersion to the exploration experience, encouraging players to engage with the virtual community more deeply.
