Miksi Early Access?

The game is being developed and tested in a small group, but we realize that the control and behavior of the car is so specific and challenging that we may have to go a completely different route. We want to enable community to join early in the development of our upcoming game, Iso Racer, to ensure a great and satisfying experience on its final and official release. So, you can already play and follow the ongoing development hands-on.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Iso Racer will go through different phases which will add more features, content and polishment until it is ready for release. This will probably take roughly 6 to 8 months of iterations and development.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

- The release version of Iso Racer will have more maps, more vehicles to unlock, more customization options for cars.
- It is possible that after suggestions from players we will change the basic assumptions of the game, mainly when it comes to the very physics and behavior of cars.
- In addition, we have plans to add a second mode called "busted" which will be characterized by chases of players in police cars behind the player who will flee across the open city map.
- In addition to the standard races, we also plan to add rare finds on the maps in the form of classic cars from the last century, which will be able to be unlocked after reaching the finish line with them.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

There is currently one racing mode for 8 players.
Currently, the game already has 14 different race tracks, 25 vehicles, some visual upgrades and performance upgrades. A basic economy is built in.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan for the game to remain in free access. However, we do not exclude other options.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We will gather feedback and data during the Early Access here on Steam and in our game discord. The feedback and data will be processed by us, which then decides on the list of changes for each update during the Early Access of Iso Racer. We hope that thanks to the steam community we will be able to eliminate the most important bugs, and maybe there will be interesting ideas for the development of the game.
