About This Game

The Children's Friendは、ポイント＆クリック形式の自動生成アドベンチャーです。
新人サンタクロースとなった貴方は、上司ニコラウスの指示でクリスマスの配達に出発します。
トナカイ「ヴァンデアッグ」の導きで精神のトンネルをくぐり、落っこちた先は「子供の夢の中」。
寝ている子供の魂を探し、プレゼントを枕元に置いて去れば、お仕事は達成。
ニコラウスからサラリーを貰えるでしょう。

でも、貴方も、きっと迷ったことありますよね？
プレゼントって、何をあげるのがいいのでしょうか？

ニコラウスから受け取った、「シン・ニコラウスの書」によれば……
良い子なら嬉しいものを、悪い子にはチェーンソー（の刃のできるだけ先端の尖っている部分を、できるだけ速度が出ている状態で）をプレゼントしなければならないとあります。

子供の夢の中を見て回り、その子が世の中にとって役に立つ良い子なのか、調和と信仰を乱す悪い子なのか、きちんと大人の判断をしてあげることが大切です。
夢の中に入っていられる時間は、PM 11:00 から、AM 00:00 までの 1 時間。
夢の中を徘徊する家畜やペット、父親や母親といった、邪魔で汚れたニコラウス的にあまり良くない存在も、注意しなければいけません。
時にはそれらがヒントになることもあるかもしれませんが……。

ニコラウスから与えられたノルマは 5 人への配送。
これを達成して来年からは高級サンタとして活躍するか、
はたまた、きついことで有名なニコラウスのお仕置きを食らってしまうのか、

すべては貴方次第です。
