Varför Early Access?

“Songs of Silence is a pivotal game for Chimera Entertainment. It’s not only the most ambitious title we’ve ever created; it’s the first time we’ve created a unique world from scratch. We want to make sure this project takes as much feedback from fans on board before launch as possible.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We anticipate the Early Access phase will continue until Autumn 2024. We have a rough plan of what needs to be accomplished before releasing the finished product, as you can see in our roadmap. However, player feedback is incredibly important to us, and we are willing to dedicate extra time to incorporate these suggestions where necessary”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The Early Access build includes all the important features and mechanics from the full release, although we will continue to fine-tune and improve these on the road to full release as we implement the feedback from our community. Please check our EA roadmap for all details.
The full game will feature eight campaign maps compared to four in Early Access, as well as extra multiplayer & skirmish maps; additional quality of life features and extended game modes (modifiers for multiplayer, difficulty levels, for example); better game balancing, and incorporated player feedback on QoL adjustments from players.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access candidate for the game is currently in the beta state: most features and content are done, but we will add more maps in both single and multiplayer for the final release.

We’re working on the implementation of player feedback across all areas of the game and the game is still being optimized for performance. In terms of content, the Early Access version of the game features the first half of the single-player campaign, plus the Skirmish and Multiplayer modes. Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We do not plan to increase the price after Early Access. However, seasonal discounts, including various Steam events, will be available during Early Access.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We have gathered extensive feedback from our players in our pre-launch public beta and through our Discord, Steam forum, and other community features. Integrating this feedback into the final game is already underway, but we will continue to collect and collate this input from the community through the Early Access period.

We have an in-game crash reporting tool and a public feedback tracker with upvoting functionality to address potential bugs. We also have a private beta branch that players can apply to join from our Discord channel. This experimental branch allows us to test new content and tweak existing material with players before releasing it to the main dev branch.”
