About This Game

Neon Override is a survival roguelite shooter where you play as a synthetic consciousness trying to break free of your digital cyber-prison. But the way out won’t be easy! Collect an array of powerful abilities and augmentations, unlock an arsenal of new weapon and class configurations, and recruit a team of expert human hackers, as you exterminate the waves of nefarious digital constructs and towering Guardian bosses blocking your path to freedom.



Nimbly weave through hordes of enemies as you blow them away with your trusty arm cannon! Run circles around groups of enemies with the Speedster class and pick them off with your precision blaster, crash into them with the Breaker class and then blow them away with the grenade launcher on your high-impact cannon, or even become an immovable wall of destruction with the Vanguard class as you force foes to keep their distance using the kinetic blast from your rapid-fire firearm. Every loadout of class and weapon choice completely changes the way you approach each run, providing endless replayability and challenges to overcome.



Rain down destruction with powerful augmentations that debilitate your enemies with status effects! Slow them down with a Ping Storm, chain electricity across the battlefield with a Lightning Rod, or even set your bullets ablaze when shooting through a Firewall! Each augmentation grows stronger as you do, gaining new effects, stats and modifiers.



Finetune your loadout for maximum destruction! Convert Shards into upgrades between each wave to collect powerful new abilities and min-max your stats to become an unstoppable force. Those constructs won’t know what hit them!



Square off against powerful Guardians with new mechanics that will keep you on your toes! Dodge telegraphed attacks and put your build to the ultimate test in these multi-phase boss encounters.



Recruit companions to help you escape your cyber-prison! On your quest for freedom, you’ll meet a ragtag group of human hackers who have been delving into cyberspace in search of lost data from centuries past — and you are their biggest discovery yet! Befriending these intrepid explorers provides you with a glimpse into a world outside of cyberspace, as they help you investigate the mysteries of your origin and imprisonment. Strengthening your bonds with your newfound partners also opens up questlines that reward you with new classes, upgrades, and weapons — and some insight into what it means to be human.
