Why Early Access?

“Sidestream Games (games to play with viewers) are still a new genre and we’re excited to be somewhat on the frontier of innovation. Due to the nature of our game we are on a seemingly never-ending journey of finding new and exciting video game formats. To do so we need a lot of feedback from the community, both players and streamers. The early access period will also be used to balance and polish existing game modes as well as to add new games and new features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the game out of Early Access in 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Games, games and games! As the game comes to completion the player will be able to play a multitude of well tested and balanced games. We also plan on adding other features such as scoreboard, subs only modes, special power ups for subs and patrons only, friends list and many more. We plan to add games that are in 3D and to allow viewers to interact with streamers via chat. In the scope of the project is also support for other platforms such as YouTube or Facebook Gaming. Some of these features will be present in the Early Access stage, but the full functionality will be achieved at the release of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“For now we have a few game modes that allow streamers to play with chat. The game is well integrated with Twitch and allows the player to easily use our platform.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the content for our game grows throughout development, the price may be raised to match the effort we put in the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“There are two ways we are going to include popular vote into the creative process - passive and active. We will be monitoring chats and streams to get the feel of what works and what doesn’t. Essentialy by playing our game publicly you allow us to gather much needed data. We also will be looking for any input form the Community Hub and messages sent via our website.”
