What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“While the build we are uploading right now provides an opportunity for the community to have a taste of the gameplay and make an impression of the lore, questing, and battle system, it is certainly lacking a hefty number of features and content of the full game, hence an Early Access path has been chosen.

Our primary goal with Early Access is to receive as much feedback from the community as possible while rolling out the public beta tests, which is especially vital in our case as the game we are building has multiplayer features in its core and we would be better off understanding how the players react to it before blindly releasing the full version. At length, this will help us shrink the total development time of the full build and save up on production cost, offering more leeway to venture into additional content releases.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1 year”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The difference between the following build and the full version is the following:

–The quality of graphics in the current build is subpar to the modern game development titles in our genre. In the full version, we intend to make a considerable overhaul of the visual assets of the game, preserving much of the gameplay of the current build and tweaking the visuals. We plan to enhance significant amount of the existing game assets with new high-quality textures and animations.

–Content-wise the current build features an unfinished version of the story mode. We plan to extend the single-player mode further by releasing additional content across the production cycle.

–We have profound experience making games for the Asian market (Korea in particular), but our understanding of the global gaming community is somewhat confined. That’s why we think that by gaining feedback from the diverse community of Steam users we can deliver a product, better tailored to the global market.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Content: The current version has an unfinished story mode for two races (humans and orcs), featuring RPG and RTS elements.
Modes: We have both single-player and multiplayer modes available in the current build (this is essential as we want to understand how the users will react to the multiplayer mode).
Graphics: Most of the visual assets are obsolete and require a complete overhaul.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current price is not final. We may increase the price moderately as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We expect the community to become the driving force of change in the following areas:

–New content releases. Receiving the community feedback from the current build would allow us to finetune the content delivery timeline (what parts of the game should be released in the full version, what should be included in DLC and should we go the DLC route at all)

–Bug identification & beta testing. We will entice the community members to try the game early on and if they like it, their contribution to bug discovery will be invaluable.

–Major story updates. Collecting community feedback about the lore and progression of the character in the story mode is paramount for us as it enables us to understand what content should be developed and added in the next chapters to preserve the loyal audience.

–We can run polls A/B testing the game assets to be included in the game.”
