About This Game

Sun Meiqi is a plot-oriented puzzle game set in the 1990s in China, where the player takes on the role of a police detective, "Liu Youth", as the core force of justice, solving cases and defeating various evil organizations. The game consists of a number of independent cases, which together create a very rich story. By the end of summer 2022, there have been nine consecutive seasons, each season consists of six separate games (DLC). Each DLC has an approximate play time of one hour. The first seven seasons of the game were developed by the Unity engine and debuted on the AppStore, but will now be developed using the Unreal engine and debut on the Steam platform.

Season 1 Plot Summary

This is the inaugural season and the game is set in Beijing around the 1990s. A secret room murder case occurred at Sun Meiqi's house in Building 2 of the Changzhuang district, and criminal police officer Liu Youth is in charge of the case for investigation. With his extraordinary powers of observation and the information provided by Sun Meiqi's family and neighbors, he solved the murder case with layers of forensic evidence. At the same time, he also discovered the ulterior motive of Sun Meiqi's neighbors. He is determined to pursue the truth and embarks on a train to Moscow, and the Bureau also sends Interpol officer Wang Yong to help investigate the case in Beijing.

Season 2 Synopsis

Liu Youth received several more cases after returning to Beijing, each seemingly independent, but in fact all connected. One by one, the masterminds behind the crime surface. With the help of Suidong, Liu Youth also discovers that an ancient organization is still alive today, threatening the safety of many people, including himself. Season 6 is from the perspective of Nan He. Season 7 Synopsis
