Why Early Access?

“YohohoDice is a deck building loglight game where dice, treasures, stickers, curses, and events mingle with each other.
The core system of the game is playable, but I think player feedback is important to create more diverse builds and better balance.
By doing it earlier, we would like to refine the difficulty, treasure combination, event reward, and unlock flow based on actual play data.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“With the current plan, we are expecting about three to six months.
However, the period may vary depending on the development situation and the scope of feedback reflection.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to continue improving YohohoDice based on player feedback.

Our current direction includes expanding the variety of playable characters, treasures, events, curses, and unlockable elements, while also improving balance, usability, and overall polish. These plans may change as development continues and as we learn from player feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current version, you can experience core gameplay such as basic sailing progress, dice deck buildings, treasures and stickers, unlocks, events, battles, and boss battles.
The game can be played from start to finish, and you can try different characters and different builds.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to change the price when YohohoDice leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will be available through the Steam community, reviews, and discussion boards.
In particular, we will look at the difficulty, balance, usability, and bug reports importantly and reflect them in the update.”
