Why Early Access?

“We created Oroboros during a 48-hour game jam and want to continue developing it with more content and features. We want to gather feedback and improve the game through Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to release the full version within 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add features such as monster taming, construction, crafting, an open world to explore, and flying boat battles. We are also considering additional features like jobs, building your own city, magical powers, and dungeons.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is a basic prototype with one quest, the ability to explore the map, fight NPCs, and collect apples from the ground. We consider it to be version 0.01.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually increase the price as we add new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will gather ideas from various platforms such as Twitter, Discord, Twitch, and YouTube, and involve the community in the development process by incorporating their ideas into the game, testing new features with alpha and beta versions, and holding monthly voting events for the community to decide on creatures, names, and other elements of the game. We aim to release a new version at least once a month for community feedback.”

Embark on an epic journey with Oroboros, an RPG game where your choices shape the story and determine your fate. You are a sky pirate, stranded on a floating island in a world shattered by the Oroboros, a giant creature that roams the cosmos in search of warmth and a good meal.
