“Early Access has been really educational for us so far, and we’ve loved seeing all of Odinfall’s players engage with new additions and provide such useful feedback, which has fed into improving balancing and making the game feel super compelling run after run. But there’s still a lot more exciting stuff we’re working on! Because of this, we can’t give an exact date when we’ll exit Early Access. We hope to give you more of an update on this soon.

“We've been working on Odinfall for a good amount of time already to get it ready for release, so the version in Early Access will be content complete, with most of the content that we plan to include in the game's full 1.0 release (not including a few surprises). We know that rogue-lite players expect an experience that keeps them jumping back in run after run, so we're using these final few months in Early Access to listen to player feedback, fine-tune the game's balancing, and make sure the game feels the best it can for 1.0.”

“The game is content complete, with snappy and responsive combat and tonnes of content to battle through.

Currently, Odinfall is undergoing QA testing to fix as many bugs as possible. However, after launching into Early Access, more people will be experiencing our game than ever before.

Therefore, you may unfortunately encounter some bugs (not just the enemy ones that you squish).

Launching in Early Access allows us to identify these issues and react to them, rather than have players discover them after the final release.”

“The price will remain the same for the Early Access and 1.0 release.”

“We’d love to get as much feedback from the community as possible. We encourage everyone who would like to be a part of the game’s community to join our Discord and leave their thoughts in the Steam forums.

We want to know:
Which character feels great to play and why?
Did anything go wrong during your playtime?
Did anything feel unfair or unfun to play?
Did any parts feel too difficult or too easy?

Receiving feedback from the community will help us balance and polish the game as we work towards the full 1.0 launch.”
