Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«Listening to player feedback and iterating with them to continuously improve the game is at the core of our studio’s DNA. Before the Early Access launch, we already playtested Skygard Arena with numerous community playtests, a closed Alpha, an open Beta and a free demo. Early Access is the logical next step for us to keep improving the game!»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«Currently, we are planning for about a year of Early Access in order to collect as much feedback as possible, have enough time for our team to integrate it, and deliver the additional content we have in mind. However, this duration is not set in stone, as we wish to give us some leeway to work with the feedback of the community and adjust the game as more and more people play it.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The full version is planned to include one more playable Champion (bringing the roster to 10 Champions), a new multiplayer Arena and additional features such as Quests (mission-specific challenges in the single-player campaign).»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The game already includes 9 playable Champions, 18 Personas, 72 Artifacts and 72 different spells. You can play two different game modes: (i) the Campaign mode with 3 chapters (13 unique missions), and (ii) the Arena mode with 5 different maps, where you can play 20-minute matches in PvP through online matchmaking, against a friend, or solo against an AI.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«We do not plan to change the base price of the game between early access and full release.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«Any player can share their feedback, ask questions, suggest new features or report issues they have. Players can join our official Discord from the game’s start screen and share their feedback with us in the dedicated channels. They can also share their suggestions or report issues here in Steam discussion forums, which we monitor as well. We’re expecting to update the game depending on the feedback we’re getting, if we consider it is relevant and goes in the direction we have for the game. We’re also monitoring players data as they play the game, which can help to give direction to balance the game. When appropriate, we plan on explaining to players how their feedback is helping shape the updates we’ll be rolling.»

Skygard Arena is a turn-based tactics game with a lore-rich single-player campaign and a multiplayer PvP arena mode. Pick your favorite Champions, build your strongest team, and claim victory through smart positioning and ability combos!

Use your Champions' movement action and dash spells wisely to gain tactical advantages:

The single-player campaign offers a custom scenario for each mission. Pick 3 Champions and a Persona for each. Each Persona comes with a unique set of spells. Equip your Champions with Relics granting game-changing passive bonuses, depending on the role you want them to play.

Five Factions

Follow the five Factions of Skygard in epic encounters for the future of their world. Katia, bold Elves and Dwarves who united to build a flying city. The Crimson Empire and their relentless thirst for conquest. The Clan of the Clouds, an alliance of free nomad tribes. The peaceful Guardians, protectors of ancient magic. The zealots of the Silver Kingdom blinded by their faith in their angel queen.

Conquer the Arena, conquer the world

Bring your best team to the Arena and battle other players in 15/20-minute PvP matches. Play ranked mode to climb the global leaderboard or casual matches with your friends to show them who’s the best tactician!

Challenge a smart AI opponent inspired by chess engines

Test your strategies against an AI which plans their moves several turns in advance. Choose among 4 difficulty levels, with the last level featuring teams built by us for the most challenging experience!
