About This Game

ArcaneSurvivors is a horde-survival roguelite where you write your own spells by joining a verb rune to a noun rune.

Loose x Flame gives you a flame bolt; Orbit x Bone gives you a ring of bone. All 84 pairs of 7 verbs and 12 nouns have their own name and their own behavior, and 11 modifier runes take that to 1,008 combinations.

A run takes 20 minutes. Deep in an endless library where books have grown minds and the catalogue has turned feral, the further you let your sanity go, the stronger the runes you draw. How far will you gamble?

• 1,008 combinations — 7 verbs x 12 nouns x 11 modifiers. All 84 pairs have their own name and behavior, and modifiers change how they act
  
• Awakening — carry a Lv5 spell into a chest and it turns gold, changing how it behaves outright
  
• Gamble your sanity — forbidden runes and altar bargains let you set your own risk and reward mid-run
  
• 20-minute runs — 3 boss fights, 19 enemy types. Win, then chase your record in Endless or descend into Depths I-III
  
• 5 seekers — different opening spells and different mechanics. The Censor wards enemies off; the Binder starts with two spells
  
• Fill the shelves — an 84-pair spell dictionary, a 19-entry bestiary, 20 achievements, and Depths I-III to push your record
  
• Japanese / English, full gamepad support

This game contains pre-generated AI content. Some 2D art assets (key art, unit sprites, rune icons, and background tiles) were generated with an image generation model (OpenAI ImageGen) and then curated, edited, and composited by humans. Music and sound effects are procedurally synthesized (not AI-generated). Portions of the game code were written with AI assistance (Claude Code / OpenAI Codex) under human review. The game does not generate AI content at runtime.
