About This Game

You come to your senses as the old digital clock alarm announces the end of your first mandated psychotherapy session in the middle of nowhere. If it weren't for your total lack of motivation, you'd do anything to be anywhere else. But as you do your best to accommodate to your new surroundings, a bright flash in the sky startles you and rewinds time 47 minutes to the past. You must lift yourself from rock bottom, investigate the mysteries of Rue Valley, and uncover the cause of the time-loop. Meet the captivating cast of characters, all with their own complex emotional stories, and find a way to unstuck the world—as well as yourself.

Attributes and Traits

Define your character by Personality Attributes and Traits. Be a cold-hearted loner who overthinks everything or a melodramatic loudmouth always responding with your gut. Reflect your own personality or Role-Play someone completely different as dialogues and interactions are heavily influenced by the character you play.

Status Effects

Suffer the consequences of your choices and struggle with the Status Effects that will temporarily or permanently change your personality. Be more extraverted when you're drunk, or more sensitive when you're anxious. Just when you think you have everything under control, a wrong decision and an unexpected Status Effect can start rolling things downhill.

Memories, Intentions and Mindsets

Explore the world and form memories that are stored in a node-based graph representing your mind. When specific memory nodes are formed, they will generate an intention or mindset. As you commit to your intentions, new dialogue and interaction choices will appear. Additionally, a variety of quirky mindsets will unlock absurd dialogues and interactions that will allow you to follow your intentions in unexpected and humorous ways. Be a music maestro by learning to play the piano, become rocket scientist in less than an hour, or impersonate the character from a cheesy romance novel.

Volition

Explore the world and complete Intentions to gather Volition. Use it to acquire new Intentions and Mindsets. But choose wisely, as you won't always have enough Volition to do everything.
