Autonomous version features

Over the years, Star Conflict has evolved into a vast universe featuring hundreds of ships, dozens of locations, game modes, missions, and its own history.

The official Star Conflict servers are shutting down, but we don’t want the game’s story to end there.

That’s why we’ve decided to preserve Star Conflict in an autonomous format and give you the chance to keep playing on your own or with friends. Run a server on your PC, invite your friends, and return to the game whenever you want.

We’ve created the autonomous version in response to numerous requests from our community, so you can return to the ships, locations, and stories you know and love even years from now.

Thank you to everyone who has been with us over the years, played Star Conflict, shared their feedback, and helped the game evolve. It is thanks to you that Star Conflict now has the opportunity to continue its story in a new format.

How to launch the autonomous version

1. Install Star Conflict via Steam.

2. Launch the game’s local server component.

3. Launch the game client.

4. Connect to the local server.

5. Play

Detailed instructions on installation and set-up are available on the project’s official website.

About This Game

Star Conflict is a thrilling space action game that lets you take the helm of a combat starship and take part in large-scale battles in faraway corners of the galaxy.

Since the official Star Conflict servers have shut down, we’ve decided to preserve the game and make it available in an autonomous format in response to numerous requests from our community.

Now, along with the game, you’ll receive both the client and the server components. Install Star Conflict on your computer, launch the local server, and invite your friends to join you. You’ll be able to launch the familiar game modes on your own and decide how you want to continue playing Star Conflict.

Important: the availability of certain features and game modes may differ from the original online version.

A whole world at your command

Star Conflict combines dynamic space battles, ship upgrades, and exploration of the open space.

  • Over 100 combat ships of various classes

  • Dozens of space maps

  • PvE and PvP modes

  • Open space to explore

  • 10 tactical ship roles

  • Ship customization and modification

Key Features:

  • Build your own fleet

From fast interceptors to heavy destroyers, Star Conflict has a ship for every playstyle.

Each ship has its own unique parameters and can be customized for a specific mission. Experiment with weapons, modules, and equipment, create your own builds, and assemble a fleet of ships of different classes.

  • Take part in large-scale battles

Select a ship that fits your needs, define your role in battle, and join the fight.

Fast interceptors, versatile frigates, powerful destroyers, and other ships let you employ a variety of tactics, from swift attacks to supporting allies from a distance.

In the autonomous version of the game, you can launch familiar game modes to play with your friends. Whether you want to have a PvP battle, complete a PvE mission together, or set out to explore open space, you can start a local server and choose the option that suits you best.

  • Explore the open space

Leave the established space stations behind and head to the far corners of the galaxy.

Complete missions, explore abandoned territories, gather resources, and search for valuable items. Pirate factions, alien enemies, and other dangers of deep space await you.

  • Customize your ship

There is no “right” way to build a ship in Star Conflict.

Use hundreds of modules, weapons, and upgrades to tailor your ship to your playstyle. Build a fast interceptor for lightning-fast attacks, a heavy combat battleship, or a specialized support ship.

Story

Three thousand years have passed since the first colonists left Earth. Now the galaxy is divided between the militant star empires and independent mercenary groups. In a remote corner of the galaxy — Sector 1337, the area of the dead — a world has been left behind. Here, the ruins of a great civilization of Aliens have recently been discovered. Huge factories and sprawling cities are falling into decay. Fragments of ships lie on the fields where massive battles were once fought. But there is not a living soul. Everything has been destroyed by a mysterious Cataclysm — a pulsing anomaly that burned out all life within this sector.

This doesn’t stop mankind, the new «owner» of the Universe. Mercenaries and adventurers have flocked to the sector to sift through the ruins and loot its abandoned artifacts, without consideration of the danger. Many have disappeared — including members of well-armed expeditions — but those who have managed to return have uncovered unprecedented riches. So looters continue to come here, to find the Aliens’ lost treasures — and to fight for them.
