What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“My goal is to make the game interesting for players. Your feedback during early access will help me understand which direction to take the project in. The game's genre is also complex enough that it would be difficult for me, as a solo developer, to release it in perfect form right away.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect the early access period to last between three and six months. I have a rough plan for what I want to add to the full version of the game. But I will also listen to player feedback and be prepared to spend additional time on development if necessary.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“By the time the full version is released, I plan to add a certain amount of new mechanics and new content.

A more advanced combat system will be implemented, allowing you to assemble militia squads, control their size and equipment. Enemies will also become smarter. First, they will also be divided into squads. Second, they will make various decisions: to break through, try to go around from the other side, wait, or build a ladder.

Construction and landscaping will be improved and refined. You will be able to build fortifications from blocks stacked on top of each other. And the landscape will have a greater impact on various aspects of combat.

There are also plans to add decorative buildings and new features to the world map, to the annual plans system.

More content is also planned: more technologies, buildings, resources, annual plans, and laws.

And, of course, player feedback will influence what specifically will be added to the game during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, there are five ages in the game: Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age. As your settlement grows, you will engage in construction, agriculture, animal husbandry, explore the world map, approve laws and annual plans, change the landscape, and defend yourself from enemy attacks.

Most of the core mechanics are implemented and working. However, some necessary features are still missing from the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the game improves, the price may increase during early access or later.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The game has a Discord server where all players can leave feedback. I read all the reviews on all channels to determine the direction of the game's development. Before the early access release, volunteer testers and demo players had already managed to influence some aspects of the game.”

About This Game

Ancient world

It all starts in 10,000 B.C. You will have to go through a difficult path of human development - from the Paleolithic to the Iron Age. The game features a massive technology tree, the progression of which will change your play style from time to time, forcing you to adapt to new conditions. Meanwhile, your settlement will grow, becoming larger and more technologically advanced.

Everyday life of settlers

You will be building, gathering, crafting various items, farming, animal husbandry and smelting bronze and iron. In the beginning you will not have an abundance of resources, so in the first years the main goal will be to survive. After all, the settlers must be fed and clothed.

Turn-based gameplay elements

The game process is divided into days. Each day is an iteration of a cycle, or turn, within which the settlers will have time to do a limited amount of work. Therefore, you should strive to keep the settlers working as efficiently as possible. As the saying goes - “Just One More Turn!”.

World map

You will have to explore a turn-based hexagonal world map. You can find useful resources on it: new seeds to grow, new animals to breed and much more.

Construction and landscape

The game features an unusual construction grid of irregular randomly shaped quadrilaterals. The landscape is editable, and consists of large square squares. If you suddenly dreamed about it, you will be able to dig out a mountain, or on the contrary build it!

Settlement Defense

Evil wild animals and nomads will want to stop you from prospering. Arm your settlers and build walls with towers to defend your settlement.

Other key features

  • The world is procedurally generated. At the beginning of the game you will be able to choose the desired landscape to your taste.

  • A system of laws and annual plans that will add to the game the ability to customize your playthrough style. Available annual plans can drop randomly, adding light rogue-like elements to the game.

  • The quality of tools determines the acceleration of certain jobs for residents. Go ahead and create iron and bronze axes and pickaxes!

This game is made by one person with love! I hope you will enjoy it!
