About This Game

A little courtyard, ten garden plots, and one goal: harvest 10 eggplants.

In HiEggplant, you care for your plants from the first turn of the soil to flowering and fruiting. Shallow soil, too little water, or too much fertilizer can put your seedlings in trouble. Observe, experiment, and adjust your care as you watch them grow day by day.

Get a feel for each tool

Hold, charge, and release. Tilling, watering, and fertilizing each call for the right amount of charge. Loosen the soil, keep young plants well watered, and take care with fertilizer: a full charge can be too much. In-game tips help you learn as you work.

Make your daily stamina count

Use the magnifying glass to inspect your soil and plants, then decide what needs watering, weeding, pruning, or extra soil around its base. Your stamina is limited each day, so even a small garden gives you choices to make. Check the mailbox for letters with useful growing tips.

Draw your sword against pests

Sometimes gardening calls for quick reflexes. Enter the bug battle minigame, dodge the swarm, and fight back with your sword to clear pests from an affected plot.

Choose your challenge

• Steady Growth (recommended): Start with 10 seeds. Planting uses one, and each eggplant harvested returns three, up to a maximum of 10 held seeds. If a plant dies, you can continue as long as you still have seeds or living plants. Clear the dead plants and put what you learned into your next planting.
  
• Classic Hardcore: Keep every plant alive. A single plant death ends the run, and harvesting does not return seeds. Every decision matters as you work toward the final harvest.

Aim for Purple Star quality

Harvest a total of 10 eggplants to complete either mode. Each eggplant earns a Silver, Gold, or Purple Star rating. Learn from your mistakes and refine your care to bring more Purple Star eggplants to harvest.
