Why Early Access?

“Our previous game Himeko Sutori benefitted immensely from player feedback during Early Access. Players gave us inspiration and ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. Himeko Sutori ended up being a much better game because of the community's involvement, and now we would like your help with Septaroad Voyager. As of this update (about 4 months into Early Access), the community has already helped us immensely, with bug reports, ideas for new features, feedback on pacing and balance, and much more. As Early Access progresses, we hope to continue improving the game based on your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“One year. We promise frequent and honest communication throughout Early Access to update you on our progress and on any possible changes to our timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Right now, Septaroad Voyager lets you adventure with a player-customized party in a procedurally generated world with an infinite number of procedurally generated dungeons to explore.

The full version of Septaroad Voyager will have a whole new campaign built on hand-made content instead of procedurally generated maps. The party will consist of premade characters. The main quest will combine the stories of each of your characters.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of right now, the Early Access version of Septaroad Voyager consists mostly of procedurally generated maps and dungeons. There is one major town, about 20 unique quests, and an infinite number of "legends" to complete by talking with townsfolk, gathering clues, and finding dungeons. We are in the process of adding more unique custom content.

Right now, Septaroad Voyager contains 14 character classes to unlock, hundreds of unique items for your characters to equip (not even counting the rare, epic, and legendary versions you'll find), and over a hundred unique skills to aid your party in combat.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan on changing the price significantly when it enters full release. And, except for the sale when the game first launches into Early Access, we will not discount the game while it is still in Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We invite all of Septaroad Voyager's players to leave feedback here at Steam on our Steam Community page. We also invite players to join our Discord at https://discord.gg/TZZxUCckQq to discuss the game and offer feedback. We have a solid track record of engaging with the community and we welcome the opportunity to improve Septaroad Voyager through your suggestions and bug reports.”
