Why Early Access?

“We, as a team wanted to show what we have now, in early access, and due to massive fan pleading, we are releasing this game in early access, until we have more developers. we plan to add more features as the game moves on, but for now, here is The When Day Breaks game everyone has been waiting for. we also hope to have poeple give feedback on the game, so we can polish the game even more.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“as long as we need.

this game is a original game, its hard to make a game like this. We are going to take at minimum 1-2 months or at the maximum, 1-2 years”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“we are going to imporve the game as time moves on, just like we said in "Why Early Access", we plan to add full NPC support, Expanded physics, and many more as we go forward, currently, the vision of the game is already complete, but we will continue working on the game until we cannot anymore. hopefully we will work with the community on completing this game, there are a lot of talented developers out there that we might pick up on our little adventure through game dev.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Refer to the About This Section of the store page for info regarding the current state of early access, But the current idea for the game is constructed. we have some puzzle elements and lore is already planted in the game, we will expand these aspects after steam accepts the store page,

“The price will not change, as we are keeping the game free forever.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“we are going to involve the communtiy by making mod support work. we are currently constructing the steam workshop, so that talented people will create great mods, that can expand the game to the vision that the community wants. we hope to recruit some people to help us out, if we have a lack of developers, we will look onto the community. we will also pick the most top mods and see if we will add them to the game. we will have the community one step away. we also have a discord server where the community can post bug reports or suggestions for the game that we could add.”

"An open-ended, SCP-based, atmospheric, exploration-focused, survival-horror game with puzzle elements and replayability."

You play as a scientist trying to get out of An SCP Facility, in the midst of a Solar Event Codenamed "Daybreak", in this event, The Sun melts any living thing touching it. however, those exposed are still alive, and will try to drag out you into the sunlight, whatever means possible.

The main goal of the game is to escape. you can find papers that tell you more about the lore, you can complete simple puzzles, varying from finding door codes, to Using the physics system to traverse the enviroment.

You can explore the Detailed enviroments of Site-52. find clues on what happened to everyone there, and find out what happened to the world these last few hours.

You will not have a helping hand in this apocalypse. you have to find your own way out.
