Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apocalyptic action RPG that combines free exploration of a vast, realistic open world with a sci-fi twist.

Engage in challenging combat in either FPP or TPP as you wish. Master a unique crafting system, manage your team and base, and sink into a non-linear storytelling where every choice matters.

You’re a Planewalker who travels through parallel worlds in search of the precious, high-energy material called Chernobylite. Cut off from the world, trapped in the Zone, and attacked by hordes of nightmare creatures, you must fight for survival and unite the handful of remaining survivors.

Explore and analyse a vast, vibrant open world created from the real-life Chornobyl Exclusion Zone locations, which we scanned ourselves over many years. Feel like being there yourself and switch between first-person and third-person perspectives, and don’t miss a single radioactive detail.

Create and develop your hero, assign attribute points and learn skills which will affect the effectiveness of combat, as well as the interactions with the world around you, NPCs and factions. An arrogant muscle man with a big sword trying to intimidate everyone? A smart sniper who always finds the right arguments? Or a silver-tongued assassin using shadows for advantage? The choice is yours.

Want to try another tactic? You don’t need to start the whole game over! Seamlessly switch between different characters and equipment thanks to the Planewalking system, letting you adapt to any situation on the fly. Develop multiple builds and skill sets to stay prepared for anything. Encounter a scenario where your heavy melee build would be more effective than your current sniper setup? Simply Planewalk and change your loadout instantly.

Fight for survival with an advanced melee combat system, or keep your enemies away with a diverse arsenal of firearms in FPP or TPP, which you can seamlessly switch to, if you only prefer to - gain complete control over your character. You can also use the stealth if you don’t like a more direct approach.

Your actions will influence the world you’re trying to survive in, change it for the better or for the worse. Fight for influence and negotiate with factions. Find and take care of valuable allies to assemble an unstoppable team from a range of companions you’ll encounter out in the Zone. Each one brings their unique strengths and abilities, along with valuable skills and knowledge they’re willing to teach - if you earn their unwavering trust, that is.

Build, upgrade, fortify, and customise your base. Create equipment that will help you and your team survive the harsh realities of the Exclusion Zone. Craft valuable items, upgrade your weapons or scrap unnecessary ones for resources. Use the help of your team, assigning your companions to critical tasks depending on their individual skills, from managing your supplies to caring for your gear and crafting your arsenal.
