Ygg Engine is a fantasy and adventure scenario engine with sandbox and multiplayer features. Explore an open-world while completing quests and leveling up skills. Or create a unique adventure for you and your friends with the realm editor.

Collecting resources is easy enough from the safety provided by town walls, but beware of venturing in the wilderness unprepared.

BUILD STRUCTURES!



Create your environment on demand! Building within towns can be limited by property ownership. Players can buy, sell or lease plots within towns for item storage and other conveniences.

LEVEL SKILLS!




Level up your combat and non-combat skills and gain access to new content for resources or money making strategies.

WEAPONS & ARMOR!



Equip yourself for your battles freely. Armor and weapons provide different bonuses, results can be positive and/or negative for certain styles.

  • Ygg Engine includes the Ygg game client, Ygg game server, and Ygg realm editor.
  • Ygg Engine runs as a client and server, which can be limited to single-player or opened for multi-player
  • You can host public Ygg game servers that others can join
  • Custom Map size maximum is 16-Million tiles
  • Ygg Client supports 2x and 4x zoom, natively runs at 1366x768 resolution, rendering 1125 tiles on the screen at a time
  • Steam deck support with adjusted resolution is planned
  • Entity movement updates can be toggled between animated and instant on demand
  • New server and client features being added regularly!
