«We have decided to release the game in early access in order to involve our players in the development process and receive feedback on the gameplay mechanics, visuals, and overall experience of the game. If the community can get access to the game in it's early days, they can give a lot of useful feedback about the game that would only make it better while players are enjoying it. The Backrooms is a complex and intriguing world, and we want to make sure that we create a game that captures the essence of this surreal and haunting space. Early access allows us to receive support and feedback from the community, which will help us fine-tune the game and ensure that we create a truly immersive and engaging experience for players.»

«Max one or two years depending on how smooth the development goes and how much feedback the game gets»

«There are lot of plans for the finished game, like

Graphics improvement
Better Procedural Generation than the current one
Involving many other levels and type of backrooms too
Involving other creepypastas on different levels based on the feedbacks
Making the backrooms more confusing and more liminal than it's current state
Improving AI and animations
Lot of achievements

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de acceso anticipado?

«It is a singleplayer horror game based on the popular creepypasta, the Backrooms. Currently it contains the Lobby(Level 0), the Habitable Zone (Level 1), the Pipe Dreams (Level 2) and "Level !". Level 0 is the origin of the backrooms. The core features and basic ideas are already included which means nothing good if you are hoping to survive in those rooms ;)
The current playtime is around 1-2 hours depending on the player. But of course this will be much longer by time.»

«The price will always represent what's already in the game. As the game grows, the price will rise to correspond to the experience given to the player. So the price will change either over the course of Early Access, or at full launch.»

«Our community will be heavily involved and their opinions and feedbacks will be taken seriously. Their experience is the most important. Steam Discussions and the Discord Server will be made and checked constantly to make sure the game doesn't miss out the players suggestions.

Un juego atmosférico de terror inspirado en la popular creepypasta de Internet, The Backrooms.

En teoría, si de alguna manera podemos romper las leyes de la física y cortar a través de un objeto, no podemos cortar fuera de los límites de la realidad normal. Esto puede ocurrir por un accidente en la mayoría de los casos, pero cuando sucede, termina allí. The Backrooms es un espacio no lineal aparentemente infinito.
Todas las habitaciones en el Nivel 0 parecen uniformes y comparten características superficiales, como papel pintado amarillento, alfombras húmedas, tomas de corriente e iluminación fluorescente colocada de manera inconsistente. Sin embargo, no hay dos habitaciones dentro del nivel que sean idénticas.
El espacio lineal en el Nivel 0 se altera drásticamente; es posible caminar en línea recta y regresar al punto de partida, y terminar en un conjunto de habitaciones completamente diferente a las que se pasaron anteriormente.
