About This Game

“Akari - The Five Eyed Fox” tells an emotional story of hope in the face of despair through a beautifully crafted 2D action-adventure platformer developed by SplashFire Studios.

Slash your way through dark enemies.
Jump, climb, and dash through diverse worlds while avoiding obstacles.
Collect shards of light to unlock and upgrade abilities that allow you to reach new areas.
Collect the lost memories of Akari to discover the truth of who you were in a life forgotten.
Collect gate drives to open portals into entirely new worlds to explore and find more collectables in.
When you've collected enough to breach the dark veil, battle your way through the dark realm and put an end to the invasion once and for all.

The realm of the gates has been guarded for centuries by a clan of foxes. When their world is invaded by an army of darkness, A fox named Akari risks everything so the others may escape, but after being cornered and overrun by these dark entities Akari closes his eyes and accepts that this is the end. Upon re-awakening Akari finds himself alone in a vast dream-like dimension with no memory of who he is or how he got there. It is in this place that he encounters Liora, the goddess of light and is granted a spark of her power. With this new power of light Akari sets out on a journey to remember who he is and find a way to end the dark invasion and restore peace to his home.
