About This Game

Topsoil Town is a turn-based digital board game about living a cozy life…competitively!

Up to 4 players compete to see who can earn the most money, happiness, and skill mastery.

• With just a few seasons to beat your friends, you’ll need to plan carefully and think strategically to end up on top!

• Moving around and performing actions costs stamina, so plan your day carefully! Stamina is replenished at the start of each day, but you can get even more by eating a home-cooked meal or buying a horse to get around town easier!

• Many locations have limited resources, so be the first to chop down that tree in the Forest, or sow your seeds in the Garden, or you might be left in the dust!

Choose a character and aspiration from five unique options: Gardener, Rancher, Miner, Lumberjack, or Angler.

• Your aspiration gives you a jumpstart on your goals and ensures every round of Topsoil Town plays out differently.

• Go all in on your aspiration or diversify – it’s up to you to discover the best strategy to win!

You’ll need to earn your keep if you want to make it big in Topsoil Town!

• Sell your crops, fish, stone and wood to earn a modest profit, or try cooking and crafting to earn even more cash!

• Use that money to buy even better stuff…but don’t spend it all in one place! More money saved means more points at the end of the game!

Want to collect that shiny gemstone in the mine? You’ll need to improve your mining skill and upgrade your hammer first!

• Level up your skills to unlock new actions, tool upgrades, and recipes for cooking and crafting.

• You’ll also be able to buy better seeds and more types of animals, like cows and horses!

• Will you be a master of one, or jack of all trades?

You may be rich and have many skills…but are you truly happy?

• Discover the best ways to stay happy, like eating home-cooked meals, owning a cat or dog, and making sure to sleep in your own bed every night.

• Improving the town by constructing upgrades will also bring you joy, but other players may also benefit from your hard work!

• Legends say those who offer items at the mystical Fairy Shrine are also granted happiness…but you’ll have to discover for yourself if that’s true!
